 ADCOCK Ancestors and Relatives

JOSEPH ADCOCK, born on 11 August 1775 in Virginia (probably Buckingham County), married about 1796 to JUDITH JONES, born on 31 August 1775 in Buckingham County, Virginia. Their children were born in Virginia. After Joseph died there in 1825, Judith moved the family first to Wilson County, Tennessee, then to Simpson County, Kentucky, and finally in 1836 on to Miller County, Missouri.

 AYRES Ancestors and Relatives

MATTHIAS AYERS was born about 1700 in England and was married about 1731 in England to ELIZABETH HALES also born in England. They left London in 1820. Their last known child, NATHAN AYRES, was born in Albemarle County,Virginia Colony in 1742. Nathan was a Colonel in the Revolutionary War.

BAKER Ancestors and Relatives

ROBERT BAKER, Sr. was born about 1670 in N. Ireland and died in 1728 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The name of his wife is still UNKNOWN. His second son, SAMUEL BAKER, born about 1798 in N. Ireland, married ELIZABETH THOMSON, born in 1732 in Middle Octarora, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, died 02 August 1776 in , Mecklenburg Co, North Carolina. Their children were born in Rowan County, South Carolina.

 BROCKMAN Ancestors and Relatives

WILLIAM BROCKMAN, Jr., born in 1777 in Albemarle County, Virginia, married on 17 February 1806 in Albemarle County, Virginia to LUCY SIMMS BROCKMAN, born about 1787 in Virginia. Their children were born in Virginia and Kentucky. They came to central Missouri in the late 1820s from Kentucky and settled in a part of then Howard County and later moved to a part of Cole County that eventually was included in present day Miller County, Missouri.

 DOOLEY Ancestors and Relatives

JAMES DOOLEY, born 14 February 1760 in Bedford County, Virginia, married on 02 December 1802 in Bedford County, Virginia to MARY "Molly" SQUIRES, born in 1778 in Virginia. Their children were born in Virginia and Tennessee. They came to central Missouri in the late 1820s from Maury County, Tennessee and settled in a part of then Cooper County that was ceded to Morgan County and eventually was ceded to present day Miller County, Missouri.

 FUQUA Ancestors and Relatives

WILLIAM FUQUA, born about 1744 in Virginia, parents and wife presently unknown. A granddaughter, ELIZABETH A. FUQUA, born on 15 March 1805 in Virginia, was married on 22 August 1822 in Kentucky to JOSEPH SAMUEL ADCOCK, SR., born on 03 December 1799 in Virginia.

 JONES Ancestors and Relatives

JUDITH JONES, born on 31 August 1775 in Virginia, died on 02 July 1858 in Miller County, Missouri, married JOSEPH ADCOCK about 1796 in Virginia, died in 1825 in Washington County, Virginia. JUDITH eventually moved her family to Miller County, Missouri after JOSEPH died.

JABEZ JONES, born in 1801 in Tennessee was married about 1830 in Tennessee to MARTHA HARRIS, born about 1812 in Tennessee. They were in Cooper County, Missouri from at least 1832 until at least 1849 after which they moved to Morgan County, Missouri.

 MADOLE Ancestors and Relatives 

JOHN MADOLE, born between 1764 and 1771 came to the Colonies with his father (name unknown) from Northern Ireland about 1772-1782. Their port of entry, whether other family members were with them or not, and their location(s) from arrival until about1793 are still unknown. John married MARGARET "Peggy" BAKER, daughter of Robert Baker, Sr. in Pendleton County, South Carolina about 1793-1794. John and Peggy followed the Baker family to Logan County, Kentucky after 1805 and are in the 1810 census there.

 ROSS Ancestors and Relatives

JOHN ROSS, born abont 1714 in Scotland, married SARAH ?________ about 1741 in Louisa County, Virginia. Their son JAMES ROSS married JEAN LOVING and had a daughter, MARY "Polly" ROSS born on 10 July 1775 in Virginia. John and Sarah's son DAVID ROSS married SUSANNAH SUDDRETH and their first son, BENJAMIN ROSS born about 1771 in Virginia married MARY "Polly" ROSS born on 10 July 1775 in Virginia. Benjamin and Polly's daughter, SARAH "Sally" ROSS, born on 10 January 1798 in Greenville County, South Carolina was married on 10 January 1821 in Logan County, Kentucky to SAMUEL MADOLE born on 27 February 1798 in Pendleton County, South Carolina. Sally and Samuel moved to Morgan County, Missouri in 1838-1839.

WILLIAM SUDDRETH born in 1700 in Stafford County Virginia and married UNKNOWN there. William died in Amherst County, Virginia in 1762. William's granddaughter, SUSANNAH SUDDRETH born about 1755 in Albemarle County, Virginia, died before 1820 in Logan County, Kentuckly, married about 1772 in Albemarle County, Virginia to DAVID ROSS born 23 May 1749 in Hanover County, Virginia, died in 1825 in Logan County, Kentucky and a great-granddaugher, JANE MURRAH born on 19 September 1798 in Burke County, North Carolina was married on 20 February 1820 in Logan County, Kentucky to married FRANCIS LOVING "Frank" ROSS born on 31 December 1796 in Greenville County, South Carolina, died on 24 January 1866 in Morgan County, Missouri.

THOMSON Ancestors and Relatives

The Reverand Mr. JOHN THOMSON was born about 1688 in Ulster, County Down, Northern Ireland and died in 1753 in Rowan County, North Carolina. He was married 1) about 1711 in Ulster, County Down, Northern Ireland to MARGARET OSBORNE born about 1694 probably in Ulster, County Down, Northern Ireland who died before 27 August 1734 in Williamsburg, James County, Virgina and he was married 2) by March 1735 to Mrs. MARY REID nee McKEAN of Octorara, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
